Split System Cleaning

Split system AC cleaning Services

For proper split system AC cleaning, you should address both the indoor and outdoor units, prioritizing safety by turning off the power first. While some basic tasks like cleaning filters can be done yourself, a comprehensive cleaning often requires professional help.

The stages of commissioning
  1. Turn off the power. Flip the circuit breaker for the AC to prevent any electrical hazards.
  2. Clean or replace the filters. Remove the air filters located behind the front panel. You can vacuum them or wash them with cool, soapy water. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting to prevent mold growth.
  3. Use a cleaning bag. To protect your walls and floors from dirty water, place a special AC cleaning bag or a large trash bag around the indoor unit.
  4. Spray the evaporator coil. Use a no-rinse evaporator coil cleaner and an antifungal spray to dissolve dirt and prevent mold growth on the evaporator fins.
  5. Clean the blower wheel. Use a brush or vacuum with a brush attachment to carefully remove dust from the blower fan.
  6. Flush the drain line. Use a pressurized flush kit or a long, flexible brush to clear any clogs in the drain line, preventing water from leaking.
  7. Reassemble and test. After all components are dry, reassemble the unit and restore power. Run the unit to ensure it operates correctly.
